I have ate at The English Inn on several occassions, all of which I have had exceptional service as well as a delicious meal. I, however, have also been an employee. I have never heard of any plumbing problems and issues are resolved quickly and within a timely manner. Second, do not judge the individuals that prepare your food until you have met them personally. The men and women of the culinary staff are exceptional cooks and prepare the food with the utmost care. If there are any problems the owner is more then willing to come and talk to you to resolve any issues that there are. I highly recommend The English Inn.

I have been to this place one time and one time only and I have been let in on some insider information. For one, the people that I know that have worked there are not the type of people I would like to have preparing my food. For two, I was told by a very reliable sources that they have a plumbing problem were one of their toilets leaks water down into the kitchen. To me, that is unacceptable and they made no attempts to fix the problem. In their defense, this was a few months ago and they may have had a turnover of employees but the plumbing problem had been going on for quite sometime.

One of the nicest dining experiences I've had in quite some time.

This is a best kept secret in the area- not many people even know that it is open during lunch. The employees are asked to park in the back so the large parking lot is empty- also everyone knows they have gourmet high end dinners- 5 course-meals etc... but no one would dream the lunches are under $10.00. I tour homes with my office on Tuesdays- no one felt they could afford to eat lunch there so I dared them to stop- and if they couldn't find a lunch they liked for under $10.00- I WOULD PAY THE BILL!!! Well, the eight of us stopped and it was delightful. The cranberry chicken salad sandwich on a roll was awesome and it came with home fries or gourmet potato salad- the best I've ever had! All for $7.95. There is also a prime-rib sub sandwich for $9.95- it was so big I had to take half back to the office for my friend- yes it was succulent and delicious thin sliced prime rib. Just watch out for the servings of pop- they are individually charged at $1.75 each- so sorry, I just like water with a twist of lemon- no charge. They do serve hot out of the oven rolls upon your arrival, with cold butter wedges English style- you will feel pampered.
